Once upon a time I was a happy child
And yes once i even had a smile
Then i met you and i couldn’t wish for another tomorrow
But still it came and with it; it brought sorrow
There begin your lies of where you were
You’d give me an excuse but always end up with her
I knew i had to leave you it’s just how things were to be
And yet i always saw you come back to me
I knew it wasn’t love or understanding
I always knew there was another game planning
I hoped you’d come through for me and see my love
But all i got were hurtful words hitting like a glove
Tomorrow will just come again and i must face you once more
My heart which was once open is now a closed door
You avoid me with your friends and talk when were alone
With me you can be yourself for them you wear colon
I look into your eyes now and know you’re a fake
But being your friend i know this risk i will take
